Asian study reading response

1)         In the above reading, the primary basis of the argument is how to end the fight between the two countries that have been in a continuous battle over religious differences for more than two decades the two countries are India and Pakistan. They have been involved in many peace talks, but the situation seems only to become worse as days go. The involvement of nuclear weapons has even worsened the case as many people are dying in the two countries. Other than that, this fight is strongly affecting other neighboring countries.

2)         The reading is helpful as it is about how the different countries are trying to make peace with each other. It makes the world aware that people should live together in harmony despite their ethnical or religious differences. It teaches the world about the impacts of having conflicts between two countries and the damage that is brought by the wars. Other than that, the peace methods that are used in solving the disputes are excellent and can be used elsewhere in making peace between two countries. On the other hand,

3)         The authors of the book are very subjective about the issue. They argue that the use of the punctuated equilibrium model where the two countries arrive at a solution to the problem and find conclusions about what will help in solving the disputes. They also argue that the two countries may use imaginative leadership such that they assume they have a leader who will, in turn, solve their problems.

4)         In the past, the Asian people were united, and they all lived together. They were based on two religions that are then Hindu and the Muslims. There was a bill in the Indian parliament that did not favor most Muslims; hence, they and that led to fights that were witnessed then. The religious clashes between the Muslim and the Hindu intensified in the year 1947. The minority were the Muslims who lived in Pakistan, while the majority were the Hindus, who were based in India.
