Persuasive Business Stories

Successful business have discovered the influence of persuasive business stories and their capacity to affect the bottommost line of business goals. The most suitable way to start a business story is to use the time-honored storyboarding technique, such as the story chosen may depend on the circumstances of the telling the listeners, the intention of the story, and the goal of the story. Additionally, there are three main key elements for building a persuasive business story. They are action in the story, context of the story, and result of telling the story.

Context of a story is a very vital element of a business story, in my project it will help during my presentation for my audience to know, who I am, which will help to build their trust in me.  Secondly, it will enhance their understanding of my business as the context of the story will outline key element of my business, such where the business is located, what I sell and what are my achievement for the business am talking about. A good business story outlines a positive picture of the business and the storyteller, hence giving the business a good reputation, which build customer trust for the products and the services offered.

On the other hand, the action of the story will help my audience to be very active and attentive during my storytelling session. Further, during that time, I will focus on value in action stories that entails what value means, for instance, during this stage, the product description, its uses and the benefits, particularly the most significant benefits are outlined in details so as to woe the customer. Additionally, this is the most important stage of telling the customer why me? Why buy my products over others. For instance, I can give an example of one of my products that is similar to others in the market in terms of quality, but it's cheaper compared to others sold in the same market. Since most of the customers are always sanative to the price of commodities, this will help to attract them to come and purchase my products, which are a bit cheaper compared to others in the market.

Similarly, the result of telling the story, mainly the persuasive business story, is to make sure that the story action and the context of the story have actually influenced the potential customers. During these satge, I may stress on the significant parts of my business, outline other important aspects of my business to make sure that, all or reasonable number of the audience are will convinced that my business is the best in terms of services offered and products. Also, they may try to find out, if they have understood well, and in case of any question, the audiences may ask and a proper answer given to them immediately. It's also the last stage to make sure that they are well, satisfied, and no one goes with an answered question.

Notably, the most significant story type that suite my project is; Values-in-Action Stories. This helps the audiences, who are the customers, to understand the value of my products. Hence it will make them to be interested in purchasing my products. The value action stage is the most suitable stage of business storytelling, where the audience can easily be convinced if the story is well connected to the business, and all aspects are well articulated.
